I love receiving great music from all corners of the world. It’s actually one of the things I love about IHM, this connection, via music, that transcends all borders and boundaries. From Indonesia comes a band named HMGNC. They self describe as an electronic sci-pop trio, and their newest single, Today and Forever, is a foggy dream of sublime intoxication. Crystalline vocals slice through that swirling fog like a beacon of gorgeous light. The luscious production is elegant and hazy. HMGNC is a warmly synthgazey and chillwavey gem, with a sliver of droopy, pulsing italo disco. It’s easy to get lost into its deep and organic folds.
